20-inch filter cartridges, providing extended filtration capacity and improved performance. Big Blue Jumbo 20” Dual Water Filtration System
Stage 1: 1 & 5 Micron Spun – Pleated – The first stage is dedicated to removing larger particles greater than 1 & 5 microns from your water supply. It effectively eliminates items such as leaves and physical debris, safeguarding the subsequent filters and enhancing overall filtration efficiency.
Stage 2: Carbon Filters – In the second stage, the system utilizes advanced carbon filters to target odors, taste, and chlorine present in your water supply. You can choose between solid block carbon filters (CTO) or granular activated carbon filters (GAC). While both are effective, the CTO filter may slightly reduce water flow but delivers superior results, whereas GAC filters allow better flow rates while being slightly less effective due to some water channeling.
